The terrific death of an adventure

This is the sickening pic I took of my mates' 12 GS Adventure Sooper Dooper bike. 10 000 K's on it, 2 months old. Where was this pic taken you might wonder? In Aus, Namibia. Why is it being towed? We don't know. It was doing fine one moment, the next it was dead. Morsdood. Started then died. Sounded like a dirty fuel filter. Poking, prodding and wondering did nothing for the, what now appears to be an software problem. And beer ain't cheap in Aus that I can tell you.

Thanks LS for helping Kat and Katoom in finding the fuel filter. We thought that might be it so we called them up to try and find out where it is on the bike.

We managed to get the bike back home, along with a fellow adventurer who had to cut his weekend adventure short halfway to Luderitz.
