Just arrived in Johannesburg after 2 months in west africa. The plan is to buy a motorbike and drive it back to Sweden, as it is my first time in SA I need some tips on where to find what I need.
So far i have found gumtree, junkmail and autotrader when looking for bikes (F650, KLR650 or similar, budget max 30.000R, preferrably with panniers)
Are there any other good places to look for bikes?
As we are on a tight budget we are going 2 up on the bike and will be camping mostly. I need to find riding gear (helmet, boots, gloves, clothes...) of the cheap kind, not alpinestars or dianese...
Camping equipment, tent, sleeping bags etc, where can i find it?, went to eastgate and found some stuff but need more options.
Any hints on where to find cheap motorbike stuff in Joburg would be greatly appreciated!
