hey Boerie,
Eks ook daar verby- so 07h45.
Okey gelyk.

Vrek, in die laaste 2/3 weke seker 4 of 5 bikers down gesien/van geweet wat naby my roete ens is... insluitende die een wat oorlede is op Graham Rd(Lynnwood oos, Swavelport) laasweek Dinsdag. Martin Prinloo (volgens Beeld). RIP. Onwettige immegrant (sonder rybewys!!

Veilig ry honne :3some:

Yesterday I was riding Lynnwood Rd just after 1700. At the petrol station in front of Lynnwood Ridge shopping centre a taxi just pulls out from the the petrol station less than 20 m in front of me. I find it hard to believe he didnt see me as he was looking that way, I was on his right/driver's side and I was in the left lane he was pulling into. He even pulled out over the line partly into the right line. he didnt just pull in and keep left. Luckily there was no car next to me and I was able to swerve right and go around the taxi.

I always pay extra attention at taxis, any car pulling in, and any car at an intersection wanting to turn across my path, or any one of those beat up vehicles which could have an unliecenced, or pruchased driver's licence behind the wheel, if you know what i mean.

Riding at rush hour to me is an extra risk.

From the ThinkBike forum (http://forum.thinkbike.co.za/showpost.php?p=598530&postcount=7):
Jolanda Mentz came down with her GS650X this morning.

She was traveling south and lost control (tankslap) due to the road surface being very uneven.

She came down very hard and the bike hit the barrier on the left hand side of the road under the bridge.
She said to me that sehe was okay but her ankle was hurting very badly.
She had basic ATGATT on but the jacket moved up causing roasties to her hip and *stomach. Badly roasted knees and her foot is not looking too good.

She was transported to Kloof hospital by ambulance and I waited for her mom and dad to arrive. Her mom told me that she spoke to the medic's just after they booked her into the hospital and she was informed that her foot might be badly broken.

Strongs Jolanda!!
You have my TB Card. Phone when/ if you want to speak to us.

D*nnerse padwerke!

Hoekom hier?  ???

I've just had my third puncture in two weeks!!!  Two in the rear tyre first time that caused me to replace the tyre (only had 2000km on it) and now another nail on a tyre with 500km!!
