i'm my parents' only child so what i'll do is just to be as careful as i can be because i think not riding will just kill me faster...

Does that mean you still want to go on a short ride with me out east one day?

You said you ride very slow. And now?

But really, you must get a better bike. That one looks its went thorugh the wars

And if you ever get the urge to do any more slapping, I will introduce you to some women....Im far too much a gentleman

Aren't you grateful that you got that pedicure??  ;D

Glad things are looking up - looks seriously sore!  And expensive by the looks of things.  With that sub-frame damage I wouldn't be too surprised if they wrote it off.

Heal well, and the flowers were a pleasure - sorry I missed you!
The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

Hi TG
I hope you don't mind me asking, but I would love to know what ATGATT you were wearing at the time, and what you think worked and what did not work, together with some pics if possible?

Thanks

+1  Just imagine, if this was this damage with ATGATT, what would it have been with no ATGATT.

i don't mind telling :) will add pics later (just washing off all the blood and snot quick :P)

i didn't wear my boots or any kind of knee protection. so the term atgatt does not apply.

had my airflow jacket on (arlen  ness mercer), helmet (airoh s4) and gloves (fox bomber ones)
the gear that i had on though, did a damn good job except that the jacket moved up to expose my boep and the gloves took somewhat of a beating, i'll replace them anyway. helmet has a scratch but nothing too serious. jacket's a little tatty but i will still keep it as a spare.

my jeans are ruined and so are my sneakers :-[

and i like my bike i don't wanna think about another bike now! :D
and this pedicure is the best eighty bucks i ever spent hehehe ;D
and i'm doing rides with each and every one of you as soon as this kak is all over ;)

wound's looking good, tendons all covered in beef again, still a few more mm's to go then i can start picking out some new skin  :P

Thanks TG, I was just wondering if perhaps I should stop wearing my short Thor boots, but it looks like I can still wear them for a bit longer.

Ouch!!! You look very sore!
I was looking at my boots and realized just how much damage my foot would have taken had I not had the boots on. You are very lucky the damage to you was not worse. Hang in there.

Girl you inspired me to go out and buy some comuta boots.  :mwink:

The last time the voice in my head promted me to get knee guards, I ignored it and a week later I was doing a splatter cat impression on the N1.
Knee guards and boots would have left me without a scratch.

You're tougher than I am, I'd be a real woes about that ankle ..... jeez

Godspeed with the healin..
