Press release from KTM ..........

You always wanted to take your 690 Enduro or 990 Adventure to compete in a race

with likeminded people? Motorsport South Africa has made your dream come true and

announced two new “Adventure” classes that will run at the same time as the National

Offroad Motorcycles races.

The new series will start at the second round of the National Offroad Championship

taking place near Vryburg on 20 March 2010 and will be divided into two classes:

Adventure single class:

A club class open to riders who hold an Offroad MSA club licence. The class will be

open to Adventure motorcycles with engine capacities of 600cc and over, single

cylinder.

Adventure twin class:

A club class open to riders who hold an Offroad MSA club licence. This class will be

open to Adventure motorcycles with engine capacities of 600cc and over, twin cylinder.

At the Vryburg race (the “Kalahari 400”) competitors will have to complete one red

loop, total racing distance 100 km’s. The classes will start at the back of the field.

Licences have to be obtained prior to the event through MSA (011 466 2440). Entry

fee will be R500.00.
