Bloody hell! Glad he's ok man. Was it a blind rise or something?
Strongs to him ok! :thumleft:

Daar is 'n wal los gruis.

Weereens, hy is 'n baie baie gelukkige man.

Sterkte weereens.

Thank goodness he is ok, a little miraculous considering how hard he must have hit that bakkie. To do that kind of damage to an older model Hilux is an accomplishment of sorts.

Especially one with a bullbar!

Sterkte, vir jou vriend  :thumleft:

Sad news!  Great bike totalled and I suppose the worst is that it is his drinking wrist that is in plaster.  Watch your bud with that concussion - if he starts talking any more kak than usual get him to medico asap even if he protesteth too much.
I'd give my right hand to be ambidextrous!

Your friend is very lucky to only break his wrist.
Hope he recovers well and is back up and riding soon.

As ons so nou en dan na sulke aaklige voorvalle kyk dan is ons dalk (ek hoop) weer meer versigtig.  Mens raak so gou mak.

Most of us has raced/ridden fast on public roads, if you can live with the risk go for it.
My brother-in-law"s dad had a speeding and out of control Dakar hit him head-on around a blind corner, the old people had to sit in the scorching sun
with the injured rider and pillion for 1.5 hours before help arrived. It happened on the dirt road between Vanwyksdorp and Herbertsdale.
It is not atgatt that saved him, it was just not his time.
As ek jy was sou ek nie so gelyk het nie.

L.W. Dit is nie n anti-ATGATT post nie. Ek wil net se dat elke ongeluk situasie so uniek is dat dit heeltemal onlogies is om bv. te se; as ek nie my
Leatt gedra het nie was my nek nou gebreek!
As ek jy was sou ek nie so gelyk het nie.

In the end it is better to have ATTGAT and don't need it..................than to need it and but don't have it.
