Do you see the standard 1200GS rear rack?:

Now this is what TT have to sell as an option.

This is their marketing slang for the product:

R1,650.50
With this design the luggage rack is positioned significantly below the centre of gravity. This part is made of steel together with a strong, extremely practical anodised aluminium plate. The aluminiu plate has slots to thread through the fixing straps so that the luggage is held as safely and firmly as possible. You can still use the original panniers or Zega-cases.*Not with original Topcase BMW*The high-quality luggage rack is fitted in the same places as the plastic one and is replaced very quickly and easily. A handle for the pillion passenger is incorporated into the luggage rack.

Significantly below centre of gravity, what!!!??

[Rant Mode On]

Without getting into a slagging match with Touratech and myself own a lot of their products AND had a lot of their products that proved totally fekin useless in the past. I got a bit pissed off with them after going to a bike show last year and every single banner was "Touratech Panniers Saved my Life - Ewan McGreggor" and this was their marketing tool.

Not the fact that you could see it was good durable hard luggage that has been proven over several years but all this marketing bullshit as if Joe Public was your average idiot that would fall for anything because some celeb said it was brilliant. I will buy any crap but don't sell it to me implying that there is moron writen over my face

Ahhhh I feel so much  better now.....thank you for reading :D
