Excellent service from KTM WC.

I'm not sure if it would be OK for me to mention this, or whether I should give them another chance, perhaps...

During our first long ride this weekend, the chain gide/glider-thingy came undone and got chowed by the front sprocket. Anyway, sent KTM WC an e-mail with some pics and explained the situation. They phoned me first thing this morning, saying that they have ordered the new part and if they could inspect the bike for any further damage.

I took the bike there this afternoon and while I waited, they fitted a temporary gide/glider from a demo bike and adjusted the chain tension. Fortunately there was no other damage.

I can live with this kind of service

Was this on your very first trip with the bike.

Still, good to hear someting nice about KTM service after all the negatives.
Hope they keep it up.
You can always rinse the surface
but the stain will remain.

The scratches are completely covered by the chain glide.

I'm very glad it was so easily repairable and that you got your bike back.

Have you stopped smiling yet? I hope you never do

I also had good service on Monday from them, my FI light for the fuel injection came on. I took the bike through there and they stopped everything to plug in and diagnose for the problem.
