Wes executed a perfect power slide on the mud. Stopped. And then promptly fell over taking out another bike.

He is amazing - I remember when he was still thinking of doing the DS thing he regaled us with a tale of him getting off his Vespa on the way to the shopping mall to buy a bike magazine or something - but even if he does fall a lot, he is always well dressed.

To Wes, we salute you

Wes do you know that your bike has a side stand when you want to park.

Important thing is that he gets up everytime and continues with his riding. He rode some hectic terrain this weekend with a burst open knee, and even rode back like that.
Respect

As Wes says himself, too dumb to actually realise that A) he's fallen and B) he's injured. Must be his size, head is so far away from the rest of his body, it takes a few days for messages to reach the top.  :D

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

I always say, I've been blessed by dulled sense of self preserve.
It must apply to you too Wes ;D
Be careful of the words you say.
And keep them soft and sweet.
For you never know from day to day.
Which ones you'll have to eat.

I think he knows that, but the problem is that he is always parking at high speed...

True. I think that particular DAKAR was cursed tho - The guy who bought it crashed it even more than wes (is that possible you ask - why yes,,, it is) and it still kept going. Insurance wrote it off when we got back to SA tho.... thats how much damage there was on it!

Now some dude in PE has it i think - shame  :mwink:
BMW F650 DAKAR ; BMW 650 X-Challenge ; YAMAHA 660 TENERE ; BMW 800 GS KTM 200EXC. Now - KTM 950 Adventure S, KTM 250 XC-W and BMW 450 Rally

if u are interested in something no matter what it is, go at it full speed ahead, luke warm is no good, hot is no good either, white hot and passionate is the only thing to be...
