Saw Megan Leavey last night after ignoring the two new Marvel options on the shelf

Quite good, got unexpectedly emotional when she finally gets reunited with her dog. Nice story with a happy ending.

Enjoyed it  :thumleft:

Went to go see 'Avengers' yesterday.

The movie was lekker, I really enjoyed it but the wife was a bit confused as she missed a few movies that I think is vital to the story in 'Infinity War'.

But...

It really reminded me why I go to the movies on a Monday morning when it is not school holidays.

To date, the worst movie experience was when I went to go watch Peter Jackson's Kong movie. Besides being overly long the guy next to me irritated the living piss out of me. And yesterday the same happened again.

Two guys and a kid that could not have been older than six sat a seat away from me to the left. My wife even mentioned that the boy was too young to watch it but I thought their circus, their monkies. But then it happened... The little shit clearly didn't know what was going on and would scream "Who is that?", Where is that?", "Why is he doing that?" throughout the movie. I have kids so just ignored him but the one guy thought it would be cool to give running commentary and then the other dickhead took a call right there in the cinema. I just had to dig deep and bite my tongue...

They weren't the only assholes on their phones and quite a few times people left and used their fucking phones as torches.

I was pretty proud of myself that I kept my cool but again realized maybe it is time to upgrade my home TV system and say goodbye to movies at the theaters.

Saw Infinity War this weekend.
It was much better than I was expecting.

Marvel have really learnt how to make good movies.
it was dark, yet funny. Lotsa CGI, but lotsa character development too.

Thanks was a brilliant villain. He had a purpose, and reason for doing what he was doing.
And the action scenes weren't just about mass destruction and falling buildings, they were close up and personal fights.
Loved it.

Looking forward to see how they wrap it up.

Watched Rampage the other day, in 3D. It was entertaining to me, some really funny quirks in the by the Rock, good humor. Good for non serious just plain entertainment.

Yip, just saw that.

You know what wasn't actually all bad? The 'Lethal Weapon' series. But I see the dude playing Riggs was fired and is being replaced with Stiffler...

But fuck this Magnum remake, smacks of lefty pandering and worst of all, no mustache. What the actual fuck.

Recent movies that I watched

Deadpool 2 - Nearly peed my pants. Ryan Reynolds is hilarious. Great Soundtrack too! Enjoyed it more than the 1st film.

Dark Crimes (Jim Carrey) - I havent been this close to chewing my own wrists since the time i watched "The secret life of Water Mitty"

The Commuter (Liam Neesan) - Low budget but entertaining plot,"Spoiler Alert" in this one he is not the crazy father with a certain set of skills that you saw in Taken

Jumanji - Good fun but made me go back and watch the original with Robin Williams again, 23 years later and its still awesome!

And Magnum is a Latino guy without a mustache.

To the producers: GO.FUCK.YOURSELF.

Go pander to the left with something else than Magnum. Fuck them and the  SJW horse they rode on. Diversity se ma se proes straat pretoria, Magnum was an awesome white oke with an epic mustache that boned gorgeous birds and loaned/stole a Ferrari from an old dude with two mean dogs.

The only thing they got right was the chopper.
