I LOVE Luc Besson's 'The Professional' and 'The 5th element' so thought I would give 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets' a try even though it got very "Meh..." reviews.

I like Scifi, but this was a tad to weird for me. I got about 40mins into it before I switched it off. Visuals are pretty good but like I said, it is just too weird...
Watch again, it is worth watching to the end. :thumleft:

Agreed. Will go see it though.

And also - Neill Blomkamp to do another Robocop reboot, and James Cameron will return with another Terminator, starring Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor.  :thumleft: Hopefully he can deliver what fans want, as opposed to the last few wet-biscuit Terminator films.

I would be interested in seeing Blomkamp's take, also because it is supposedly a direct sequel to the original like he wanted to do with 'Aliens'. Basically, ignore all the kak ones.

Speaking of... after the last 'Terminator' movie I wish they would just let this whole thing die.

Agreed Grrr - I feel the same about Ridley Scott's Alien spinoffs - so over it.  :patch:

Not sure if this should be under movies or gaming...

But I am posting it here. If, like me, you a fan of the 'Uncharted' games have a look...

But this...

This I would recommend.  :thumleft:

Excellent film - some unexpected humour and dark twists.  :thumleft:
This was awesome.

I enjoyed this film a lot. It is a grownups movie but it does have some real action. Do not pass this on how the trailer looks. I give it a rating of 3+ ( the amount of times I'll watch it again)

I hate the colour tones in DC's movies... that trainwreck of a movie Justice League had this annoying red tone through the final act and here it is blue.

Looks like more overly CGI nonsense.

I went into 'Split' knowing nothing except people praising James McAvoy's performance. Enjoyed it a lot.

And now it all comes together after 18 years in a 3rd movie playing off in the Universe started by Unbreakable. Think it is going to be awesome.

That depends if M Night Shamalamalam really got his mojo back, or if 'Split' was a flash in the pan...

Well, it is a series following a time line, and both of the previous films where great. So here's hoping.  :thumleft:
