Yesterday I was helping someone fix a puncture on a tube and he asked me if I had a lighter ! I asked him what he wanted the lighter for as he does not smoke.
Then he says that he wants to light the solution on the tube before sticking the patch down !
I asked him but why!
He says it makes the patch stick better . . . .
I personally think that thats a myth!
What do you guys think?
