You're getting there cappie. The pics are getting technically better, next target is composition and lighting.

The lighthouse pic is pretty good. The beach one after that has good composition.
However.
The nicely placed rock in the foreground has shape but no definition. Looks like a black blob that has been PS'd in. Bit of fill flash would have made the world of difference.

Sometimes one misses a good oppurtunity and it cannot be repeated.

This pic of mine would have been so much better if there was a white wall behind me or if I used a bit of flash:

Ahh thanks for the feedback. I never use flash because I don't really know how to use it. I'll start playing with the flash in daylight.

But the good news is that there is still a world of exploration and experimentation to do.

Cappie I hope I'm not hijacking but I just grabbed a few I have done.
Looking at other people's pics inspire me, but then I go out and do my own thing.

Point is, there are so many different things to do with a DSLR.

ROUTE DIFFICULTY
1 = tar
2 = good gravel /pillian friendly
3 = interspersed with sand, mud, sand , bush / not pillian friendly
4 = lots of sand, technical riding 5 = expert only

Net ingeval jy dalk nog steeds soek na jou bike en voordeur se sleutels: Gaan kyk daar teen die heining by die kanon, hulle hang daar :biggrin:
