Namibia 2011:

ROUTE DIFFICULTY:1 = tar
2 = good gravel /pillion friendly
3 = interspersed with sand, mud, sand , bush / not pillion friendly
4 = lots of sand, technical riding
5 = expert only (we are not worthy, still to meet one)

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting: "Holy shit!! What a ride!!

A pic from my 1999 Frankfort camping weekend on a pair of 125 two-strokes. It took us nearly 8 hours to get there from JHB as the air cooled bikes kept overheating.

The Kawasaki's subframe gave up half way there, so we had to load everything onto my Yamaha. We had everything with us except milk and meat.

Bensien - Wife came home today with a Samsung 3D LED TV and 3D Blue Ray player with built in wi-fi and 1TB hard drive. What else do I need?
Kaboef - A cheaper wife.
