This is a short little report of my solo trip down to CT to look for a new bakkie and to do Goose's dyno run.

I left Friday morning and returned Saturday afternoon. Plan was to do as much gravel to CT and I managed to be offroad from Mossel Bay all the way to Bredasdorp.

Somehow my GPS led me to a fence where I was supposed to cross the Gourits river, not even a gate. So I went around to the next farm and found a way in, but I couldnt see the exit. I ventured into the dry river and ended up doing about 4 km upriver until I found the exit.

When I finally got out of the river, I rode in the opposite direction up on the hill. All on farms. The people there are very friendly.

The Dyno test. I must say, this was my first exposure to this kind of thing and I was quite impressed.

The bakkie I ended up buying.

Sir Lowry's Pass on the way back.

The trip home was a boring N2 chase as I had commitments at home.
