Hi,
I am new to the dusty side of things.
Recently fell off & wrote off my VFR. Decided bikes like that are too fast for me now (I am 62). Being able to explore the dack roads appealed so bought a lightly used Dakar. Did 450 ks around Perdeberg & Riebeek Kasteel sat pm & sunday. Really tired after all that. Have booked in for the Midelpos trip so 2 @ 330k days should make me sleep like a baby.
Have read just about every post on this board. Off to get my Richa gear later today thanks to advice gained here.
