Will KTM bring down its Prices ?????????
« on: June 18, 2010, 03:28:24 pm »
Heard from a birdie that the KTM deal with Austria in SA is that the rand Euro exchange rate was set at 12 euro to the rand  for a fixed period--this will be coming to a end soon and a new rate will be set between the parties involved--so--looks like the KTM okes have been paying just a little bit more than they should have -----

Looks that way--in the USA they are much cheaper when converted  -- i think the importers just suck prices out of their thumbs sometimes and justify it by using the one or other stupid reason-- eaxtra taxes --not enough demand etc etc --

Most of the motor mfr's have also been making a killing with the exchange rate-- not the dealers though.

It is certainly high time they did.....the entire biking market in SA gets milked....
And now with the Yamaha so well priced I think even BMW need to sharpen their pencils a bit....
Perhaps good for us all......
If you can keep your head in the midst of all this confusion, you don't understand the situation!

If KTM would be able to drop their prices with about 15 - 20% , they would really
throw the cat in with the pigeons............the salesfigures results would
make for good reading

You wouldn't want to do that, that would just make you want to sell your KToom.
