Why does the GS 1200 Adventure and Tenere 1200 ext have 19inch front tyres? My X Country also has a 19inch front. I will admit that I don't have enough technical experience to really know the benefits of a 21inch over a 19 inch front. I see however that the 19inch tyre on the X Country is wider than normal, does this make up for the 2 inches smaller tyre?
Whenever me and my mates ride poor gravel roads I just stand up look up and open up - works for me so far and even in sand i usually go everywere just as fast as everyone else with KT-M's and XT's ext.
