A few pics from our trip down to Oribi Gorge and up the Mzimkulu River.

Three guys myself, 777 and Navi – all XT660’s (2*R and 1*Z) , and then were pleasantly surprised to have BabyBeemer (who is from Port Shepstone) join us at Leopard Rock and for the Mzimkulu ride. Thanks for the effort mate !!

We took the N2 down to Port Sheptone and then through the Oribi Reserve.

In the Oribi Gorge Reserve – a bit dry at this time of year but still stunning.

And from there down into the Mzimkulu valley, where we made a new friend tending his herd, and 777 had some fun in the dry(ish) river bed.

Headed back home on the old road, but met up with a “Road Closed” – but this does not apply to WD’s – We used the sideways XT Limbo Dancing trick to get the bikes under the barrier and off to Scotties for a late lunch.

Was a 420Km day for me, but it felt like nothing. Company halves perceived distance.

Sometimes tar is not bad. In the words of the Old Trapper “Sometimes I sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits”

Thanks for the great company guys – see you out there
