We met Wino at Sasol garage near Krugersdorp this morning to join him on his weekly gravel trip.

After a couple of km of tar we hit the dirt with Wino leading on.

We followed him down beautiful country roads. Some of them as smooth as tar and some a bit of the eish-eish stuff thrown in to make it interesting. What was nice is that the ?technical? bits were short enough to ensure that you are through them before panic can set in. (For me anyway)

On the way there. An action photo of Wino for a change.

At a T-junction asked us if we would like to see Beedt?s Neck. Who would say no? We followed him and as we reached the top of Breedt?s Nek Stephan?s GS decided he wanted to play dead. Here he is waiting patiently on the centre stand for special attention from BMW.

While we were waiting, Robin, he who downed his bike, joined us. The three men then decided to ride up the small path at the Neck to look at the view on the other side. I just tried my best to stay out of the sun and offered to look after the dead bike.

This was the last photograph taken of my bike with mirrors and indicators.

The rest is history.
