The Chinese can copy anything. It will probably look like a BM, but I'm pretty sure it won't go  or last like one! ;)

Don't be so sure. The have the best manufacturing resources and facilities in the world. They are more than capable to manufacture the best there is.

The mostly make cheap rubbish in order to get something on the market. Would you buy a technically identical chinese copy of a GS, given that quality wise they are the same,  for R120k instead of R140K for the BMW badged one? I think not.
Now:  Royal Enfield Classic Chrome

Previously:  Zongshen 200GY - Aprilia Pegaso 650 iE - Aprilia Caponord 1000
Suzuki DRZ 400 SM - Yamaha Virago 535 Bobber - Aprilia Caponord Adventure

Seeing everything is pretty much made in China anyway, so I wouldn't be suprised....... then again spares will be a whole lot cheaper!

Wow, I must say, the chinese are getting better at this!

The attention to detail is imaculate, and for all intents and purposes this bike will last me a lifetime!
On the other hand, I bought one for my three year old aswell, but under his hand it would not hold up forever, as he rides his toys like he stole them!!!
