WTF is it with BMW riders? **POLL ADDED**
« on: August 06, 2010, 11:24:33 am »
<rant>

Drove past three guys on BM's today in town. Two 1200's and one 800. I waved cheerfully at all of them. No response whatsoever. Not even a nod.

WTF?

Own up - which of you WD's was it?  >:(

The last time I do that to a Be-Em-Vee rider  :deal:

Must be an EC thing......around here they at least nod when greeted.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Duh! It is because you ride a KTM. I thought I we went over this already....

When we buy the bikes it is in the contract we sign with BMW that we are not allowed to wave to other brands. Especially KTM's....

But don't worry. BMW riders don't wave to me either.... Think it is because I don't own a BMW pimp suit.  :-[

Not "them"  :peepwall:

My opinion. I don't greet other bikers whilst riding in/around town as there are too many of them. When out on the open road, I will pop the odd wave every now and then, but not always. My view is that I do not constantly greet fellow road users whilst driving my car, so why must I greet bikers when I'm on mine.  ??? ::)

Does your reputation preceed you perhaps ?

Look how you treated me when I joined  :pot:

That , or perhaps it has something to do with his sister and your manners :peepwall:

I'm with you on this 1 J-dog. Most BMW riders in the EC are a bunch of stuckup wops that don't greet under any circumstances. Some even give the glare as if to say "who the hell do you think you are..... prick"

I still greet though.
Donít worry about things that arenít, worry about things that are and your decisions are so much easier to make!
