Are those pics of Neil on the gravel taken during the first main stage yesterday? (after the prelim?)
Did he complete yesterday's stage without any major mishap?

Current Standings:

1º Jose Hélio - 01:38:47.2
2º Felipe A. M. Zanol - 01:40:56.9
3º Marc Coma - 01:41:48.3
4º Ike Klaumann - 01:43:38.9
5º Deni d. Nascimento - 01:44:28.0

From what I could gather, on an event level, no major mishap or crash.

As per comment: "As traditionally happens on the Sertões Rally, the first step does not show extreme hardship to competitors. Thus, they can test the equipment and make final adjustments before facing the next nine steps."

The route, starting from the South:

Courtesy from Grizz: In this day and age religion is often frowned upon, but I have met some of the most amazing people from various religions over time.
From Buddhists to Sikhs, through Muslims and Christians and everything in between, there are many good people out there and if you do not allow yourself to be swayed by petulant religious opinion, the world is an awesome place with the odd idiot in between trying to make it rubbish for others.

Pissed off that his spot tracker is not working.

It only shows where he was 7 days ago.

The Sertoes website is crap too. Nothing about the competitors or am I driving it wrong?
I wonder where that road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. Appologies to Mr Frost

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

The man has gained seven places in a day, if I'm not mistaken! He started last out of 67 bikes after his nervewracking prologue...    :o :thumleft:
