Chuck U Farley
Race Dog
Just want to tell you about an incredible act of helpfulness from a fellow Dog.
I left at the begining of this week on my first bike trip since my dad passed away. (Full RR to follow). As I pulled into Wuppertal I noticed that my rear wheel of the Hp2 had broken more than half it's spokes (some over enthusiastic riding in the Tankwa Karoo!)
Stuck in the middle of nowhere, I used the phone at the local church & called old friend Jacko (forum whore of note) & said "help!" No probem he says, give me 5 minutes.
5 minutes later I get a call from John Webb, aka "Tau". He is taking the wheel of of his GS, loading it in the car & driving over 150km to bring the wheel to me!!!! All of this for a guy he doesn't even know!!!!!!!
Not only did he arrive with the wheel, he changed it for me too!!!!!
BIG UP for you, Tau! You're a scholar & a gentleman AND a moerse lekker oke!!! :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
P.S...Mods, maybe we should consider an "Honors Board" where we can acknowledge these super helpful Dogs?
