Just got an update from Cave Girl. (She left her laptop at the hospital so Misty can get on the site!)
Misty got out of the ops room at about 6:30. She is doing well and just in a bit of pain.
As far as we know the op was succesful, and as Sunny said we will know more tomorrow.

You guys should swop Misty and Sunny around in the QT.....it will really baffle the staff.......IT's A MIRACLE.....healed overnight.....

that would be quite funny, as much as we are the same, its a bit like chalk and cheese...just look at our Forum names

Just spoke to Misty, she still sounds a bit groggy and seems to be battling with some nausea, but will be going to her first physio within the hour

Some pics of the x-rays will be posted soon.....fortunately no bone construction was needed using hip bone....but I do believe metal was inserted

Popped in to say hi this morning - Misty is looking great *what a suprise* but not feeling that good - hopefully just the morphine and anesthetic making her nauseous. She was a bit distracted when the Dr popped in this morning so will get the full account of what he did or didn't do later but seems positive that no bone construction was needed - they have not put her into plaster and will probably just put her into a knee brace which is great news.

Misty doing nicely - she has been up and about! - well sort of with the brace on!!! and has been for x-rays to see the plate and screws are where they supposed to be etc and still going to have some more chats with doc.

So she is much better than this time yesterday and the road to recovery starts now...vasbyt...

Hey Misty, some good news, I have learned how to wheelie your bike while it has been here at my house - not very difficult, and only dropped it three times until I perfected it - so something to show you when you better

- Not much petrol left in it tho

Hi all, just got off the phone with Misty - must say the first time she didnt sound like she had 1 tequila to many!

To Pistol - Misty says you might not drink pink drinks, but she is still watching you!

To those who would like to make a turn to visit Misty - you are more than welcome, as they are not strict about visiting hours, anytime will do, as long as it's before 7pm (7-8 is eSKaPe time

)

I've also been told that pics of Misty's sexy leg brace and ouma walking ring will be posted soon
