Many of you know about this.

I certainly cannot wait - I aim to go watch this even if I have to go camp open air in the veld (testing Jacko's ultra light traveling and inventing some more of my own).

I see they are getting closer to a date.

The record bid will take place on Hakskeen Pan, Northern Cape Province, South Africa, in 2012." (Edit: in 2013). (Edit: In 2014 after the rains). (Edit: In 2017) (Edit: in 2018 but only testing at 800mph speeds)
