Race Dog
Posted on behalf of a friend new to Adventure riding we will call him Frenchie and an intro of His part in some of the “Best” South Africa has produced.
For the greatest part of my adult life I have been involved with motor sport and extremely fast cars, my career being a motor sport boss for a top brand in the world. My new adventure started after being nagged into buying a motor cycle by my so called buddies Mike B Mike R Buddha and Coles of spietkop fame.
Being on the short side I needed to get something that I at least felt at home on having never ridden a motor cycle before.

Approximately 2 km from my home I had to make my first stop for a skyf to adjust the adrenalin rush that was taking over.
With the adrenalin taken charge, off we set off on the long journey to the Pie shop which seemed so very far away as we approached a sweep under the N2 freeway it suddenly dawned on me that I had no idea how I was going to go around the bend but slowly as u go I managed.

At the Pie shop really felt great ,needless to say I have been out on my bike every weekend since even traveling on some real smooth gravel and then some not so smooth gravel roads
ZUURBERG INN TIME FOR SKYF
At Zuurberg Inn I was convinced by Buddha and the group that it would be plain sailing riding through Krom River as the roads where in great condition, man how your buddies can throw you into the deep end.
Needless to say off we went roads not anything like I was promised
