A couple of weeks ago while coming back from a ride I noticed my fuel light come on after doing 280 km .Now normally this would come on at about 310 km on average ,obviously depending on town/distance riding etc .
I thought that maybe I'd been a little brave on the throttle and thought nothing further of it .
Today the light came on aafter 220 km .I thought maybe the float had got stuck and filled up thinking if it is stuck the bike wil take less than the 13 litres that it should take to fill up again from reserve ,took 13 litres which is about right cause the tank takes 16.7 if my memory serves me correctly .
That means that the float is not stuck and all of a sudden I am using more fuel than I should be .
I'm one of those guys that resets the odomoter every time I fill up so I kinda know when to expect the fuel light to come on anyway ,however I'm rather baffled with the current situation .
Any ideas guys .
