Surreal day. this morning on way for school drop-off some idiot in Bantam came flying down Ruimte Rd, he hit a bloke on a bicycle, seems not to hard though, guy could get up and move out of road. not nice to see though, brought back some rough memories....
this morning at 10 went to Mnandi for some business, in Ruimte Rd as well ( old Krugersdorp Rd ) saw guy lying in veld next to his bike. bike totalled, riders hand moertoe broken, few scratches, otherwise in mint condition. He was a bit lightheaded though and I needed to catch him when he was falling over. no ATTGAT, no gloves, very fortunate
said he had insurance but no licence? ???
offered to call ambulance but he called friend of his to come and take him to hospital. called Metro as well. waited for his friend then had to get going.
two accidents seen in one day, luckily no fatalities
