Selling UK/EU bike in South Africa despite carnet?

Hi,

Have trouble finding info about South African import duties.
Could someone please help me out?

I am basically a EU (polish) national and my bike is registered in the UK.
I would like to sell the bike once i got to South Africa at the end of my overland trip from London.

I have an old Tenere valued at about 800 gbp in the UK.
How is the base of the import tax assest in South Africa?

Could someone please give me some advice on how to get around this?
