Smiley, you're on camera...
« on: October 10, 2010, 09:00:09 pm »
On my way home from Moorreesburg, next to the railway track just outside Darling I hit a huge rock at high speed. In stead of Rocking the Daisies, I rocked my front rim and now I have the smiley to show for it...

Ouch! That can be fixed though, they just use a press to make it alright again.

Tyre pressure around 1.8 bar. I know it's a bit low, but was going through patches of sand here and there. Luckily it didn't puncture anything.

Bad luck With a lot of goodluck thrown in!
Your smiley demonstrates the only advantage of tubed rims.

I've been contemplating getting tubeless rims. Procrastination saved me!!!   ;D
