So now that Throttle Jockey also got a DR650 we decided to hit Hankey to watch the Winterberg. Noxious and Cacus joined with a KLR650 and a DRZ400
We left Grahamstown at 06:00 as planned and hit the N2 until the Uitenhage road then got onto the Elands river road which was supposed to be snotty and wet, but was dusty already! As we neared the Telkom tower and I hit the final whoop in the road the DR bottomed out and really tried to toss me off! Guess the SE suspension has spoilt me somewhat! ;D Le Caps brand new bash-plate was ripped off from its mountings - I surmise that it did its job though?
We were fortunate enough to be invited to stay over with Sweetness and NemoDakar on a citrus farm near Hankey :thumleft:
