My Dakar started dying at robots after traveling various distances in each case. Sometime early in the morning but mostly with my first stop after about 30 km's in the afternoon. The hotter the day's temp the more likely it is to happen. I had the bike at BMW and after more than a week in the workshop were able to lessen the amount of occurences, but that lasted for only two weeks.
I'll be sitting amidst two cars at a robot and suddenly just before the green it'll die on me, everything will smell of petrol and if I'm lucky it'll start in two attempts. Otherwise I just sit there and hope everyone coming from behind sees me. Sometimes it's flooded for 5 minutes or so.
Can anyone help please? Perhaps I can tell the workshop what to look out for, because their computer only know as much as put into it.
