Have a look at "The Homestead" in Geluksburg. Not a camp site, but great accommodation at a very good price. You can only reach Geluksburg by gravel and the roads in the area is great!

Tintwa and Middledale pass is a must! Middledale pass is tar from Geluksburg (about 20km) but then gravel further.

Plus you can head to Bezuidenhouts pass from Geluksburg as well.

Great area with lovely gravel roads!

Try the Amphitheatre Backpackers, just off the R74 between Oliviershoek Pass and Bergville. The passes Mc Spaff talks about are all near. :thumleft:

Hlalanati - on the road to the Royal Natal National Park, take turn off towards the Cavern/Montusi Lodge.

+1, excellent place, awesome riding, mountain bike or motorbike...the owners also ride...
If you can keep your head in the midst of all this confusion, you don't understand the situation!

Do you know if you can get to the Monks Cowl area from Hlalanati, without going around the top of the Sterkfontein dam?
Thanks

Cathederal Peak.

The road alone is worth the ride.  :thumleft:
