DIE STOP IN KALITZDROP
THE SAGA CONTINUES

Well this is a moerse warm dorpie called Calitzdrop and we are very moeg!  But after the awsomeness standing sonder petrol gedoente we were very verlig to made it to the biker bar.  The expression of verligting on everyone's faces was so admired by one antoter that I saw here comes a groot moerse kuier.  The wind was blowing and Calitzdrop was full of people.  I never seen so much people in my life.  We entered Wessel (toevallig the same guy I bought my XTZ from last year) and drinked a paar doppe.  Me of course could only drink a Savanna light anders was ek poep dronk and would have made arme Reinier totaal mal in the backup bakkie.

While we stopped I sprinnged uit and looked at the opblaas pop on a motorcycle standing in front of the bar

O koek I don't have a photo for the opblaas pop op die scrambler nie!
But naaither her nor there dusty made her moederlike entrance and I could see the opgewondenheid van die naweek on her face.  She was so opgewonde soos 'n vark in palastina

Me and Oom Smithey and Mrhyde kuiered lekker with the cool oom Pad at the bar counter admiring a motorbike engine and discussed a topic if a (it looked like a harley) engine would mabe fit in my kwakaksaki frame if my engine would have been moer toe? but I skutted my kop and did not knew if that would have been a great idee nie.

Well we kuiered and the whole place was full of bikes.  Bikes was saaged in half just to make bar stoele!  I wish i had such baie geld to buy bikes and saag them in half but Wessel managed to do it and I admired his love for bikes.

Here Smidty, Berm Rooster AKA awsomeness kuiered and oom Pad was in his element.  You can see the bling in his eyes and the relief because the weekend started and the bokke was klaar gemelk and the weekend kuiers was upon us.

Dirtcopper was also in Ecstacy even if he don't drink that pill you could see the adventure in his eyes

while we kuiered for a vinnige dop oom Mike admired the awsomness of this bar.  We discussed that the bar was a very good idea and well situated.  Now the day was turning dark and we had to finish and buy some meat and beer.

Me, Mrhyde and Awsomness aka Berm Rooster stopped at the Pharmacy to buy some meat and I bought some very too much sweet slabs of chocolate.
Me and Reinier met up with Gryph and Dr Dirt at the bottelstoor and off we went to "the bergpas se naam ek vergeet het"

While we were driving I took some photos of the berg pass that was protected by concrete layers of concrete to beskerm the road for los vallende klippe.  Dusty was riding like a queen and Berm Rooster was gooing the draaie.

So we approached a small dorpie called Amandelstein and we decided to take a piepie in the bushes while kuiering and descussing where the damwal is or might be!
So everybody had a quick informele vergadering without any notules nor any secretary taking notes to where we must go or what route to take.  So Gryph came with a brilliant idea to make the next meeting point where the Goukakga dam turn off is.

Here Gryph en Awsomness Berm Rooster was making reg for departure
The history in making:  A HP2 legend VS the Afrikan Twin legend.

Here Jakals was looking towards the mountain and found some bo natuurlike inspiration from the mountain and he was full of energy.

So we headed "towars the meiringspoort tipe bergpas wie se naam ek nou glad nie hoegenaamd kan onthou nie" and I took lekker kiekies while Reinier was riding

From here on I identified name for the draaie!
Binne die 7 Weke se poort pas

Kromdraai

Fyndraai

Sit loot in jou potloot en stoot draai

Now all the bikes was inside the majestical Sewe weekse poort pas.  There was ongelooflike kort and vinnige draaie and the sun started to sink behind the mountains.

while we were riding another biker named Scrat (cool ou Gerrit from Bloufilmstrand) joined us at the Gamkapoort dam interance and their the kuier started.  Die ou kan kuier!!

TO BE CONTINUED.....DIE VINNIGE KUIER LANGS DIE GAMKAKPOORT DAM AND THEN ANOTHER TO BE CONTINUED KUIERING AT NIGHT AT THE COTTAGES

THE QUICK KUIER AT GOUKAKDAM INTERANCE AND A DRAFFIE TOWARDS DAMWALL ENDING UP WITH A MOERSE GROOT WORS THAT WAS OUT OF CONTROL ON THE BRAAI LATER THAT NIGHT

So following a moerse avontuur so far we reached our destination and everyone was celebrating the foutloose trip towards our first overnight-er.

Here Berm Rooster was drinking some nagmaal wyn before we departed towards the 20 Kilometer road of dust and turns!

Here Gryph was taming his stoetbul and was making ready for a lekker rowwe road ahead.

Here everyone was maaking reg for the final piece of road going towards the cottages

The bike with a viagra spike!!  I call it the stiffy maker!! ready to rock and toll!

Now that everyone was accounting for and debriefed by the Doctor himself in person by himself and for himself everyone was ready to ride the lekker moeilike bulterige road!
The road was full of twist and turns so I tried to neem fotos but my kamarra was almost thrown out of the window due to the heavy turbulence me and Kwagga experienced during the final stages of our rally trip.

This piece of road was a red route and quite difficult with all the twist and turns.

After a fortunate ride we made it to the damwall and I decided to spring out of the bakkie and ran towards the dam wall before night falls.

So I took the camera and ran towards the dam wall.

I followed the path towards the wall and it was gravel all the way until I got to a blind right turn and there it was.....The massive concrete floors and the massive dam wall structure right in front of me!

While I was running towards the dam wall I noticed a very deep wind noise coming from the mountain cliffs running up the dam wall and that sound was as creepy as a bad horror sci fi movie.  I felt like being in area 51 surrounded by massive concrete structures and wind blowing slamming garage doors outside the dam wall.  I decided to climb up on the dam wall and when I approached the middle of the dam wall I had a look at the elevator door and suddenly a door tumbling noise came from that door caused by the wind that came down the mountain cliff.  I retraced my steps and was too afraid to go any further.

So I ran back towards the cottages and took some snap shots

TO BE CONTINUED WITH THE WORS AND THE GROOT KUIER
BUT NOW I ARE TOO TIRED TO THINK ANY MORE
