After a long wait, Wednesday the 24th arrived. My wife and I woke at 4am to a wet and misty dawn in Kloof( Kzn). We put on our rainsuits and with the Adv weighing in at around 470 kg's we left to meet Outthere in Howick. Enjoyed a quick cup of coffe and left for Himeville.
At the garage in Himeville we met up with Ian, Mike and John who were on Ktm's. We all said our greetings and left for a wet and muddy Sani Pass.
The dirt road leading to the pass was really snotty and we got bitten by the mud monster before we reached the pass. Luckily it was a slow off and Mrs Badger managed to step off gracefully but I ended up in the mud :thumleft: This was just the start. Thanks Ian for the help.
Sani was wet and exciting. Luckily I had just fitted a Mitas E10 150 on the back before we left.......Thanks goodness. Little did we realise what a trip this would be.........
