That is great to hear, 1KAT, and wonderful that you could be a part of the giving.

As previously said,
Just give your sis lots and lots of love and support

Kat - just Sunday we were chatting about your sis at Forries. What a great thing to happen and it never surprises me at how huge people's heart's can really be. Just shows that everyone has real goodness inside there somewhere.

Please pass all our fondest wishes to her and her daughter............and our thoughs are with her at this time.

Wow! Well done to all the donors

I am really glad for your sister, but also feel guilty (? Is that hte correct emotion?) when I think of the price she had to pay to experience the generosity of others (us?).

I was taking my 12 year old son to school when it was broadcast, very sad  indeed.

Before getting out the car my son asked me, with real concern in his voice, not to ride my bike near any taxis today. I promised him that I would not.

Tears running... that is so great to read... and so sad too...

Makes me want to just hug my sister who has gone to sleep already... her and the boys miss their dad too and I guess they always will, but at least, with us all pulling together, we are managing ok.

It's always so heard-warming hearing about others pulling together to help and for those that need it to be able to receive...
They call me Judy or Judes...

Unfortunately the recording is link to the wrong story...................click on the story called
"A niece's wish for a deserving uncle" and listen to it.

Be warned...............it is very emotional :'(

Michelle..........good luck to you, your sister and the family. ;)

+1

Good luck 1kat.  I don't even want to imagine what would happen to our family if something like that happened to us.
