...it would show people out there who have been or who are perhaps going through very tough times that there are amazing people out there that care.
I think that's the thing.
I've known a couple of families that suffered through a loss like this and it is almost without exception the same thing every time - after the initial shock and ceremonies the 'support group' people kinda go on with their day to day and forget about the people still feeling the loss every day.
It is then in that time that the ones left behind really start to suffer, as the rest of the world have seemingly moved on, but they are still faced by the same kind of feelings and sense of emptiness sometimes.
And that is when it is so easy to think that you are totally alone and no one cares.
Something like this shows that there are actually people who do care.
