McDuff dropped off his bike at my workshop last Wednesday after it suddenly died on him.
I pulled it apart and what I found does not look pretty!
The piston looks like this:

Lots of other problems starting from a gudgeon pin seized in the con rod's small end to seizing almost everywhere
For example in the cam journals and on rocker surfaces:
The engine died of oil starvation after it burned its supplies past the deteriorating piston rings.
The bike is a Suzuki DR600S 1984
As you might guess fixing this is not a re-bore and slap in new piston and rings quickie.
Looking for a DR600S engine in running condition or at least fixable or a more or less complete DR600S in any condition as long as it comes with a running engine.
Would be nice if you guys could keep eyes and ears open and ask around if someone has a suitable engine or an organ donor for sale.
