If you don't ride a KLR, you're shite. Fortunately we have our own lifestyle events now. I see the latest "adventure weekend" is being advertised for the KZN/Natal region.

Would love to go to one where we all (presumedly) have discussions on stuff like where do we get the cheapest stuff, how to be mean and stingy, and why it is good for your soul to ride a harsh single with no brakes to speak of and a thing called a doohickey. Then we will diss al the other brands and their riders in no particular order but including BMW, KTM and Vespa.

Sitting here on the sideline, I made a conclusion: The okes in the Cape are "die moer" in wiff each other. All the capie comments are negative(attitude). Not our falt that you have a k#k rugby team, k#k dealerships(not specifying brands),I dont know what k#k else! Attitude is the big problem manne. WRT BMW exclusive events and venue - just a question. Are only BMW bikes allowed at its offroad academy - cause I've notice a couple of other brands as well, amongst others KTM, Buell etc.  If this is a norm I assume that the argument regarding the BMW clan limiting events for its own is BS

but I think we are slowely learning to talk about these things without offending each other. Soon, hopefully, we will stop bothering about it altogether and just focuss on friendships and rides, wherever they may be or whatever bike you use

If you register quickly, you can sitll get a small "number for life".  I mean, a sticker with number "11" looks much better than "124" on any bike...     And Dave Petersen will put those who pay the most on TV first

When I tried to book for the 2007 GS Challange, Iwas told I can only attent on a BMW. Therefore, even when I get my GSA I will not go to anyone of their events. I'll rather support Alfie Cox

I also do not understand the "consumer Events" thing. I think you have to pay to attent the GS Challange :?:
So they sucker the guys further

As for the waving: Do any of you wave at other cagers when you drive with your cage?

All brands are allowed at BMW offroad academies ...except KLR's...and for good reason
