Earlier this month I bought a Metzeler Enduro3 from Dewie on the forum. I did not look at the size wanting it for my wife's DR250.
Today I went to get it fitted and the fitter told me it's a 17" instead of the required 18". My heart skipped a beat not so much about the wrong size but that I was so stupid not to look at the size and that I was R500 bucks down.
I sent Dewie an sms that it was too small, keeping in mind that he was paid last week already, and the next moment I received an sms from him asking for bank details to refund the money.
Integrity came when it was not asked for, and I take my hat off to you Dewie.
Guys, the tyre is thus still up for grabs and I priced it at Holeshot. It is a Metzeller Enduro3 and would cost +/-R1150 new. Size 130/80/17. For KLR's, DR650's 650GS's etc.
This one is 99% new for R500.00.
