My dad got a new TT600 in 1981. We still have it and she has been restored to former glory about 10 years ago. since she has been standing for most of the time.
We had CPR rebuild the shock and forks
Rebuild Gearbox after I destoyed 3rd
rebuild topend (he set the valves)
stripped and powdercoated frame.
I had new genuine stickers and side covers........I lost interest as I went to varsity got a job got married and now 10 years later I cannot find the original parts in our warehouse......
I need help on the following.
What sparkplug?
does anybody have sidecovers?
My silencer is rusted broken ......
My dad had a deal with me and my late brother "if you can start it you can ride it".
I rode that beast for the first time at 13 years of age. I would love to get her back to RWC. I remove all the indcatorsa and the battery on the MX track in numorous crashes :biggrin: Whenever my Yz went in for repairs or was out of fuel the TT had to do.
I will post some pics later.
Oh and what is the chances of oversize tank or fitting the Tenere tank?
