Spectacular crash at INXON WARMBATHS 200
« on: January 23, 2011, 08:30:20 pm »
I just happened to be in the right place at the right (wrong)   time

To make it worse (better)   - it just happened to be one of our team mates  :mwink:
Just before the finish line:

I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

The butcher backed into the meat grinder and got a little behind in his work

Some more:

Some of the riders were in good form - others not  :laughing4:

Lourens Mahoney finished in spectacular form - He came screaming over those last two jumps as if they did not exist. A real crowd pleaser - he entertained as well

It was great to start the season with a full compliment. We will however only compete in this club series due to costs and time available.

Also nice to have Wayne Farmer on board  :thumleft:

Start line:

My kids had a good time - and got a good bollocking for messing up the signs (sorry Adolf)

Part of their punishment - they are lekker red today

Yes, he had one on - they took it off (top part) when they put him on the guerney

This is the first time he rode with one

Ja, I also had a good laugh about that
But it happens so quick that I only registered it was our own rider after I looked up from the camera

there are 15 pics and at 3 frames a second - it was all done and dusted ('scuse the pun   ;D ) in 5 seconds

In another crash - it was a bit more serious. Not sure how the rider is, but he had a similar fall. However, as he was getting up, another rider table-topped those jumps and the second riders back wheel hit the first chap square in the back

Ouch eina, I hope he is doing fine.  Landing in the mud and then having to take off over the next one with mud and ruts before it was very "interesting".

See you at the next one.
