So who is sleeping with who this year ???
« on: January 24, 2011, 05:17:42 pm »
Come on, spill the beans. Who has climbed into bed with who this year ?

I hear a birdy singing that a certain "off road cycle" shop in P town has got involved in the money pit as well

We have serious scaled down due to economies but have still managed to field a great team for the 8 races in the INXON series this year. Great to have Jan Nieman (juniors National Champ) and Wayne Farmer (Seniors top rider) with us this year.
Andri Pretorius and Riaan van Heerden also did exceptionally well last year in the Amsoil (now INXON) series
Morne van Heerden (Utility Quads) is also riding under our banner and we know he will do  just as well as last year.

So, which other WD's are racing this year and are you riding privately or under a team banner ?

Moam team ?
Cape boys ?

I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure anymore

You guys up in GP don't mess around hey. I won the 2009 WC champs overall and couldn't even get a support package down here (I am not talking about buying a new bike from a dealer buying one of their shirts and they refuel you). I bet it will be better to come up to GP for your races.

Is the Inox series the old Amsoil ?

Maybe a wildcard entry later in the year(when is is dry) :mwink:

Yes - INXON is the new main sponsor

Main sponsor still the Howse Children Education Trust Fund (unfortunately rapidly heading towards bankruptcy), and planning to do EWXC, the odd WFO and Rudaman’s, and primary goal will be to finish Silver class at Lesotho National Enduro end of May. But vaark me, if I knew how fit you have to be to do enduro’s I will never have started this sordid business
Husky TE610 - (Sold)
KDX 200 #C258 - (Sold)
YZ250 2t (on it's way to OZ!!!)
Montesa Cota 315R (Sold)
The Roof - a strenuous hike the through the mountains of Lesotho with a 100kg backpack.  As acid rain falls on the leaves, And Mother Earth quietly grieves, These blasted pollutants Will make us all mutants, And our kids will wear coats with three sleeves.

You must come ride, this is a very lekker series. I am sure with that CV you will land a nice sponsor. (Ping Off Road Racing Concepts.... :peepwall:)

We are 4 guys racing in the series - farking around a bit but having a jol nonetheless. I am starting to feel the water on sponsoring our little "team", will see how it goes. Nothing serious so as to keep the pressure off - we are weekend warriors with nothing to prove, keeping it like that is key to the enjoyment of the sport (for me).
