This is a clean sheet revolutionary design for spoked wheels, the Kineo rims have been developed to be laced together with the Kineo hub and the Kineo spokes.
A: The Kineo tubeless rim cannot be matched to your original hub.
Made from the same 7050 Aluminium as Excel, as opposed to the Behr 7020
Kineo are manufactured differently to normal rims.
The Kineo rim is forged and than roll formed, welded, CNC machined and anodised,
while Excel and Behr rims are extruded, roll formed, shrinked, drilled and anodised.
This process allows Kineo much better control over the resistance and the stiffness of the rim as well as the roundness and the run-out.
The Kineo spokes are perfectly straight and can be replaced without disassembling the tire and wheel using just an allen key.
The rear wheel for the large enduro bikes include the Kineo cush drive and sprocket carrier.
Interesting Kineo options include:
1200GS - 21” front
KTM990 - 17” rear
Tiger 1050 and Vstrom 650 wheels
and some funky single sided swingarm wheels
