...and too poor to afford knee braces... hmmmm, you think i could get medical aid to get me some

First, sorry about your off. Hope you heal quick.
I have the EVS Vision knee braces and they fit with well with my MX boots. 1 pair R2000.

thanks hun.

well, if i wear my mx boots i can't wear my knee guards or my pants.... so less protected in a way.... usually just wear jeans with my mx boots, so if i had fallen with them i might have been ok with my foot, but other parts might have gotten hurt.

will look into something when i am up in joburg.

kinda feel a bit cheated to be honest. hahahahahaha... first time i break anything and it's my toe. i wanted a cast dammit!!!!! dakota already had my sticker kit and spray paint ready for pimping it. tee hee

Firecoast, you need to sort out your ATGATT. You were lucky this time, but the more you ride, the faster and more technical will be the routes you take. Jeans are crap, and so are those brothel-creeper shoes you were wearing. It is entirely possible to have a combination of good rip/abrasion proof pants, knee guards and proper boots that all work together.

Here endeth the sermon.   :deal:

i don't ride in jeans...

i ride in as much ATGATT as my bank balance can afford. i feel naked and very much unprotected when i ride in less.... so i try to be as safe and protected as much as possible.
