What's the front yard like?  :D

I did not want to show the front yard but here goes... that is when I still used KTM's, Hondas, Kawa's, Yammies and Zook's.

After I bought the Beemer the heap stopped growing.

Just a TEENY WEENY bit seriously:

BMW (the company) doesn't just sell what are essentially bloody good cars and bikes, they also sell a lifestyle and boy, that lends itself to some bashing.  :D  :D  :D

However, I don't think there is one BMW rider on this forum who buys into that, but hell, they get the flak anyway !!!!!

You OBIVOUSLY haven't ssen Uncle Bob's outfit...

Except KLR. All KLR owners at least agree that the KLR is a plaasbike.

Oh. Sorry. Does that count as bashing as well? :D

It's a badge we wear with pride. Let nobody try and tell me the KLR is not a plaasbike.

I have been arounf this forum for the last month or three. But have not posted a lot as you can see by my post count. I only say something when I can make a contribution.

What I am perplexed about is the reasoning behind so many of the WD forum members wanting to take a shot at BMW and BMW riders. Why is this happening, most of the issues are about BMW riders not mixing with other riders or BMW riders thinking they are in some way superior to other riders.

Your bashing antics is actually devoid of any logic, there are quite a few BMW riders here, the point being we are HERE..... so why bash us ? You are bashing the wrong people !!!!

If you think I am over reacting have a look at the following links on this forum :

http://wilddogtours.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6175

http://wilddogtours.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6435

I am seriously not trying to pick a fight here. But allow me to ask the following, are you so seriously irritated by BMW's and BMW riders that you do not want us (me) here, should I rather stay away, or is this forum meant to be a place where we can interact because we have the same interests, passions and hobbies in life ?

Komaan skillie dis seersekerlik omdat BMW ryers bekend daarvoor is om te sukkel met kritiek en alewig gevoelig oor enige kommentaar is.  This forum consist of members that take any critic and comment in a light hearted way and promote equalness between biker brands unlike other local forums which had a similar tread for weeks - relax I'm sure you did'nt buy your BMW as a status symbol - and being a member of this forum we don REALY judge you for owning a BM - You'r just so...gullible

What I would like to know is why did so many orange bikes break down with electrical problems (source Ride Reports) this easter weekend - has it got something to do with the Best Before Date? Y2K-TM

Gullable se gat man !

May be there are more BMW Wankers because there are more BMW's ?

It will be better for all if the generelisation stops.  The other bikes here get's stuff about the bikes... the BMW guys gets attacked in person.

Screw that !
