Can anyone tell me how to download maps / images from Google Earth? Dont have a GPS but want to take a map of a certain area for old-style navigation.

File / Save / Save Image or Ctrl-Alt-S saves the image you see to a file, if that is what you want?

LostDOG - make sure you have Tracks4Africa enabled in your layers under Featured Content before you save. You cant go without it :!:
