itch needs scratching

HELP!

this itch wont go away!

no matter what i do, i cant stop thinking about "her"

my car has been giving me so much crap lately, i simply have to sell it. the bloody thing has set me back close to 40k in less than 6 months. so i started thinking what to get in its place. i cant get a new 4x4 like i want cause it is way out of my league finacially, and a second hand one is taking a risk with reliability. bying new leaves only a few options and settling for a yaris or peugot 101 is not my style.
i.m sick and tired of getting myself into debt over a car, but one has to have transport.

so i thought. f@#$k cars, get a DS bike again!     :D   :)     :P

Wise thought you had there, go for it. No more sitting traffic and being at the mercy of the car infront of you. Get back on the bike and enjoy life again. That 40k spent keeping the car running could have been spent on better things.

well, if you remember correctly, i already had a 950adv.
the thought of having something thats 40kg's lighter, and slightly less complicated (mechanically speaking) appeals to me.
also, the tank is bigger.

ive always been a "less is more" kinda guy. the 640 has less shiny plastic that can get damaged in the event of a fall.
last time wanted the 640, but changed for the 950 at the last minute so my gf could come with on long trips.
this time i want a scrambler for town, with long distance capabilities.
the 950 was an awesome bike, but the 640 looks like more fun, especially offroad.

Don't feel alone. I've had those exact thoughts for a while now, but I refuse to go take one for test ride....... I know I'll buy it immediately after
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

i thought it was only the 950 that had those?
what else does the 640 have in terms of factory faults?

dd, ive always thought you have a serious advantage on your 450 suzuki. lightness counts for a lot when the going gets tough.
the 640 is also a good lightness to power compromise, and i must admit, i definitely have a softspot for the 640
