So we left Hogsback for Cathcart - open sky & open roads

After a pie & a Coke, we left for Thomas River to show Johan a "bietjie kultuur"

Johan and I travelled nearly 750 km's for the 2 days.  We had nice company with us on both days.  Thanks guys.

Johan - It was a pleasure having you with us.  For the record - he promised me that he'll come and visit me next year with his own bike . . .   I can see that there is a new WD in America  :mwink:.

Thanks for reading.

Goodnight.

Jaco

Nice report Jamol,
Thanks for inviting me on day 2, I realy enjoyed the ride,
Hogsback was at it's very best, lush and green.
Hope it is still like that for the ride at the end of the month.
Your nephew has a good eye for a pic.
My biggest worry in life, is that if I die before my Wife, she will sell my biking gear based on the prices that I told her I had paid for them.

I have been to your secret spot >:D

Ha ha - I doubt, but to let you not in the dark, here are a few photo's Milly & I took when we were there last year in June.  It is behind the Manderson Hotel and for any bookings you can call Rob Scott @ 072 364 8077. The place is called "Shire Eco Lodge".

The path goes to the outdoor shower in the bush . . . . .  :mwink:
